Michelle Obama will guest-star on 'Nashville'

First Lady Michelle Obama is leaving Washington for Nashville – the TV series, that is.

President Barack Obama’s wife will join a slew of stars on the country music drama for a special, military-inspired episode that will air on Wednesday, May 7, leading up to the season finale on May 14.

In the episode, titled “All Or Nothing With Me,” Rayna Jaymes (Connie Britton) enlists the help of Michelle – as well as other stars like American Idol alum Kellie Pickler – to hold a benefit concert for Luke Wheeler (Will Chase), who has been injured in Afghanistan.

Mrs. Obama, 50, has been busy boosting her television resume as of late. She’s also scored a gig on Thursday’s season finale of Parks and Recreation and has had previous cameos on shows like iCarly and Sesame Street.
