Emma Stone to replace Michelle Williams in 'Cabaret' on Broadway

Life is a cabaret for Emma Stone.

The Amazing Spider-Man star is set to make her highly anticipated debut on Broadway this year, replacing Michelle Williams in the production of Cabaret.

The 25-year-old actress will take over the part of Sally Bowles, an American dancer who works at the Kit Kat club, a role made famous by Liza Minnelli in the 1972 film.

Emma was originally cast in the Sam Mendes-directed production, but had to withdraw due to scheduling conflicts. Michelle was chosen instead, and the Oscar winner has been playing Sally since the show opened in April.

Emma is scheduled to start her run Nov. 11 until Feb. 1., 2015.

Cabaret is set in the early 1930s Germany, which has an ever-growing Nazi presence and follows the love story between a dancer at a seedy cabaret and an American writer. To date, the Broadway show has grossed $15.7 million, "showing resilience at the box office through the summer months, when many shows tend to taper off," according to the Hollywood Reporter.

Emma's been wowing on the red carpet as of late, and her transformation from freckle-faced cutie to Hollywood knockout has been nothing short of dazzling — it's no wonder we can't get enough of her!
