After the moving biopic The Theory of Everything made its world premiere at this year’s Toronto International Film Festival, its leading lady, Felicity Jones, was on everyone’s radar.

The Birmingham native gave a brave and powerful performance as the first wife of scientific genius Stephen Hawking, opposite the equally talented Eddie Redmayne.

Garnering critical acclaim isn’t new for Felicity, who has starred in more than 20 film and TV productions since making her debut in 1996. Her work in 2011’s largely improvised romantic drama Like Crazy won her the Special Jury Prize at the Sundance Film Festival and, later that year, the National Board of Revue named her Best Breakthrough Performance.
