As fans eagerly await the fifth and final season premiere of Lost Girl – which promises to be the show’s “most powerful” yet – a slew of previously unannounced guest stars has been unveiled.
The new names joining the cast for season five include Eric Roberts (The Dark Knight, The Expendables), Luke Bilyk (Degrassi: The Next Generation), Noam Jenkins (Rookie Blue, Longmire), Amanda Walsh (Two and a Half Men, NCIS) and Shanice Banton (Degrassi: The Next Generation, A Day Late and a Dollar Short).
They’re not the only fresh faces to join Lost Girl’s final, star-studded season. Famous for her role as Cordelia “Cordy” Chase on Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Charisma Carpenter will play the character Freyja, who is modelled after the well-known mythological Norse goddess.
Meanwhile, Kris Holden-Ried (The Tudors, Underworld: Awakening) returns as the shape-shifter Dyson, while fan-favourite Zoie Palmerstars as the human Dr. Lauren Lewis.
Actress Anna Silk, who plays sexy succubus Bo on the Canadian supernatural drama, announced in August that the show would be reaching its “epic conclusion,” promising season five would be the best one yet.
“While we might be saying goodbye, we’ll be doing it with a bang,” she said.
The season premiere of Lost Girl’s fifth and final season (a.k.a. the #Faewell) will air Sunday, Dec. 7 at 9 pm.
