A star is born! Broadway actor Jeremy Jordan, who plays Anna Kendrick’s love interest in the upcoming film adaptation of the musical The Last Five Years, has gone viral after a video of him covering one of Celine Dion’s most iconic pop songs was uploaded to YouTube this week.
In the clip, the 30-year-old heartthrob can be seen belting out a flawless rendition of the 1996 smash-hit “ It’s All Coming Back to Me Now” as the crowd cheers wildly.
The triple-threat (he’s an accomplished singer, actor and dancer) was performing at New York City’s cabaret spot 54 Below, where he was joined by other musical theatre stars for an evening of classic pop tunes. Jeremy, however, stole the show with his megawatt performance, which he punctuated by cheeky grins and flirtatious winks.
The writer of the song, Jim Steinman, was thoroughly impressed with the up-and-comer’s rendition, commenting on the video: “ As I wrote and produced the song for Celine – I’m very impressed and pleased with Jeremy’s ability to scale the Olympian operatic heights and imbue it with humour, seamlessly! All in all, brilliant!! And thank you.”

With its over-the-top soaring vocals, the classic power ballad went straight to number one in Canada when it was released back in the 1990s. Along with “Because You Love Me,” it was one of Celine’s biggest hits off of her Grammy-award winning album Falling Into You– which also became one of the best-selling albums in history after selling 32 million copies worldwide.
Meanwhile, the handsome actor seems poised for superstardom. The Last Five Years premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival last year and hits theatres nationwide on Feb. 13 – just in time for Valentine’s Day.
