Canada’s most famous Lost Girl, Anna Silk, has found international success on the small screen thanks to her butt-kicking role on the super-sexy supernatural series. Later this year, the stunning actress will say farewell to her alter ego, Bo, much to the heartbreak of fans everywhere who can’t get enough of the show.
“I’ll miss working with such an amazing cast and crew and such creative writers and producers,” she tells Hello!, adding, “I’ll miss Bo’s strength, her strong sense of justice and her fierce loyalty to her friends and family.” Waiting at home to help lift her spirits are two very special gentleman, her husband of five years Seth and their baby boy Sam, who turns two in May.

In her early days growing up in Fredericton, N.B, Anna fell in love with performing at an early age after watching rehearsals for local theatre productions starring her mother Ilkay, who is now the director of drama at St. Thomas University. After graduating from said university in 1997, Anna set off to Toronto and then Hollywood to make her dreams come true. Awaiting her in Los Angeles was screenwriter and actor Seth Cooperman whom she met at an actor’s workshop and later married in 2009.
After memorable guest spots on The Ghost Whisperer, Being Erica and The Republic of Doyle, she landed the role of a lifetime on Lost Girl in 2010. It’s been a thrilling five years for Anna, and Hello! is honoured to have been included in some of her milestones, including her first photo-shoot with son Sam back in 2013 (see above!). To celebrate her birthday, Hello! looks back at 10 things the gorgeous star has shared with us over the years.
