Get your twenties ready… the Magic Mike XXL trailer has arrived! Channing Tatum, who stars in the long-awaited Magic Mike sequel and also co-wrote its script, took to Twitter this week to share a new teaser video with fans.
The original movie, starring Channing Tatum, Matthew McConaughey, Joe Manganiello, Matt Bomer and Alex Pettyfer, was a surprise hit with critics and audiences, making more than $167 million at the box office in 2012. It was loosely based on Channing's own exploits as a male stripper.
The clip also sees the group of muscular men return to the stage to dance, grind and otherwise enthrall female audiences.
If all that weren't enough, Jena Dewan-Tatum's handsome husband also shared the unapologetically risqué movie poster on Twitter.
"This one will be a road trip movie," Channing previously revealed. "Without giving a lot away, we don't want to make it a really serious, slice-of-life movie. We want to have reality in it, but we don't want to make it some dark drama.
Jada Pinkett Smith is slated to appear in the sequel and, although the actress said she "can't really reveal" too much about her character, she did confirm she would not be stripping off. "It's not one of those [characters]!" she told Queen Latifah last year. "But I'm excited about it."
Magic Mike XXL hits theatres on July 1.
