Inseparable Hollywood duo Reese Witherspoon and Sofia Vergara became fast friends while shooting the upcoming female buddy comedy, Hot Pursuit. You would, too, if you spent the better part of the film handcuffed to your co-star!
“Anywhere we were handcuffed to each other it was ridiculous because [Sofia] would just jerk me around,” Reese exclusively tells Hello! Canada. “I was really impressed with her professionalism and her willingness to just do anything to make people laugh.”
As much fun as they had together, there’s one star in particular that Reese says she wouldn't mind being tethered to (hypothetically) for long periods of time – Lena Dunham.
“First, [Lena’s] hysterically funny, but she’s also the most well-read person I’ve ever met,” gushes Reese. “It’s always great to be around people who are intelligent and open-minded and curious.”
The Oscar-winning actress’ admiration for the GIRLS creator is no secret in Hollywood – last year, Reese even publicly offered to take part in one of Lena’s projects, tweeting, “Hey @lenadunham all I gotta say is you write the script and I'm there girl! #Seriouslytho.”
The pair also famously enjoyed a pre-Oscars party together, where they snapped fun photos of each other eating cake.

And the Wild actress isn’t the only one fan-girling over Lena. The celebrated author, producer and director has become one of the industry's most well-respected stars, adored for her quirky, complicated personality and un-airbrushed intellect.
"I don’t really watch TV,” Pretty Little Liars star Ashley Benson once said. “GIRLS, of course, that’s the one show I watch. I love Lena and I love that show."
But who would Lena, 28, choose to be handcuffed to? We haven’t had the chance to ask her (yet!), but if not Reese, perhaps Mindy Kaling – the two comediennes are friends in real life, and even watched SNL’s spoof of Lena’s show together at Mindy's house!
