Elisha Cuthbert is saddling up to star alongside Ashton Kutcher in the new Netflix comedy series The Ranch. The Canadian actress is no stranger to tapping into her funny side, having starred on the hit sitcom Happy Endings for three seasons. The Ranch tells the story of Cole – a former professional football player (Ashton) who returns home to run the family business in Colorado. Elisha will play Cole’s old flame.
The Netflix show also sees a That ‘70s Show reunion, with Ashton’s former co-star and close friend Danny Masterson taking on the role of his brother, while acting veterans Sam Elliott and Debra Winger (An Officer and a Gentleman) round out the cast as his parents.

The new series marks Elisha’s return to the small screen after her Ellen DeGeneres-produced show, One Big Happy, failed to resonate with audiences. Since then, she has been busy filming Goon: Last of the Enforcers opposite fellow Canadian Jay Baruchel. The collaboration marks a long-awaited reunion between the two stars, who first worked together in 1997 on the educational series Popular Mechanics for Kids.
