When Anna Silk popped by the Hello! Canada office on Oct. 8 for a Periscope chat, there was plenty to share: the fact that she's expecting a baby boy with husband Seth Cooperman, the mementos she took from set as Lost Girl wrapped (her dagger, of course!) and her thoughts on the #InternationalDayoftheGirl as Celebrated Ambassador for Plan Canada's Because I am a Girl campaign. We've rounded up all the fun highlights in one video!
“We are having another little boy!” she revealed to fans live on Periscope. The happy parents are set to welcome a baby brother for their two-and-a-half-year-old son Sam early next year. And while he's not quite sure what being a big brother means, Sam was a big part of Anna's inspiration to get involved with Plan Canada.

“I was aware of the campaign but I think it was when I had my son two-and-a-half years ago, I realized I was in a hospital with all the resources I could possibly need and I thought about all the women around the world that don’t have those resources and that really hit me .
“Girls rights are human rights and so for the International Day of the Girl we are asking people to take the pledge!" Anna says of Oct. 11. "It’s a call to action for the International Day of the Girl but you can do it anytime of the year."
We also asked some Lost Girlfan questions to the woman behind TV's beloved succubus, Bo, as the fifth season of the cult favourite brings the series to a close. Anna spills on the finale, her favourite episodes to shoot and whether she actually is a Lost Girl!
