The nickname “Prince Farming” is no joke. When former Bachelorette, Bachelor and Dancing with the Stars alum Chris Soules touched down for his first-ever trip to Canada, Hello! happily joined him at Twenty View Farms in Smithville, Ont., where the handsome TV personality was right at home. Originally from Iowa, Chris was on Canadian soil to meet and work with Grain Farmers of Ontario on their Good in Every Grain campaign.
“Every day is a little different,” says Chris on how his life has changed after being on The Bachelor. The biggest difference is getting recognized and being asked to take selfies everywhere he goes, including inside the tents at World MasterCard Fashion Week in Toronto, where he was spotted the day after our interview. “If I can make somebody smile as a result of meeting me, then that’s a win in my book,” Chris tells us.
After we ate lunch and were shown around the farm by the incredibly down-to-earth TV star, we sat down inside the barn for a chat about his surprising road to fame and the friends he’s made along the way.
