While Jennifer Lawrence is busy promoting the last installment in the Hunger Games franchise, Mockingjay – Part 2, there’s another movie on her mind. During an interview with Entertainment Tonight, the 25-year-old didn’t shy away from questions about the script she co-wrote with Amy Schumer. “We both have very similar senses of humour, obviously, and aren't afraid, which is a good and bad thing, because I don't know what our movie will be rated,” said the blonde beauty.
The untitled project, in which both Jennifer and Amy will star, was the result of a quick and effortless friendship that blossomed between the two stars earlier this year. While they weren’t busy enjoying a girls weekend on the lake or dancing on Billy Joel’s piano during his show in Chicago, the talented actresses found time to write the film that both describe as being, “funny, dirty and real.”
And while Amy skyrocketed to fame thanks to her turn as an emotionally unavailable singleton in Trainwreck, don’t expect to see the comedian stumbling through life in this new project. Jennifer reveals that this time around Amy “has it very together” and that she’s the one that plays “a mess.”
The Oscar-winning actress stayed mum on what her character was all about, though she did spill that girl power reigns supreme in the flick, saying, “There’s not really boys in it.”
