Jimmy Fallon has once again called on some famous friends to make musical magic. With famously elusive singer Sia headlining a performance of the 1665 classic "Iko Iko," Jimmy also rounded up Oscar winner Natalie Portman to join in the fun along with The Tonight Show band, the Roots.
The hilarious video is especially amusing for two reasons. First, the 41-year-old host had the chart-topping singer, Hollywood actress and his band play children's toys as instruments. This includes a particularly challenging deck of cards.
Second, the upbeat and catchy performance is also exceptionally stylish. All of the celebrities and musicians huddled around on the stage with toys are decked out in all-black or all-white ensembles and Sia's signature blunt-cropped wigs, this time two-toned. Sia added an extra adornment to her ensemble: an oversized bow on her head
The segment comes just a few days before Sia's next album, This is Acting, is released. The 40-year-old Australian's last venture was her 2014 album 1000 Forms of Fear. In an interview with Ryan Seacrest, she explained her new album. “Most of the songs, if not all of them, I wrote for other people, and they were rejected. And so they are generally are songs that are not from my perspective, and so it feels like acting,” she said. “I have rejects from Rihanna, Adele, Shakira … Beyoncé, Demi Lovato [and] Katy [Perry].”
As for the 34-year-old actress, it looks like she has a busy year ahead with a whopping five projects premièring or on the go: Jane Got a Gun, Prideand Prejudice and Zombies, Planetarium, Jackie and an untitled Terrence Malick film.
