This news is totally excellent. Canadian Trevor Schindeler is working to get another sequel to Wayne's World made. The writer from North Bay, Ont. has started a GoFundMe page in the hopes of seeing his script for Wayne's World 3 come to fruition.
Trevor penned the pages back in 1993, looking at how best friends and co-hosts Wayne (Mike Myers) and Garth (Dana Carvey) have evolved over the years. He's currently seeking $2,500 to help fund the project and publicize the script's presence in Hollywood.
"For twenty-three years, I have tried to get someone, anyone, inside Fortress Hollywood to read my screenplay," Trevor explains on the page. "To date, no one has. Everyone has refused to read it including producers, directors, actors, and even entertainment agents."
Tentatively called Wayne's Leisure World, Trevor also outlined the movie's plot.

"It's the year 2047. Wayne and Garth have settled down and are enjoying their golden years. Not. As you know, the future is never a happy place. The world has gone mental. Vegetarians run wild. Everyone's listening to whale music. An evil genius has cornered us in a fast food market. And don't get us started about robots. Will rock and roll save the day?"
In his hunt to have the movie manufactured, Trevor even contacted Mike Myers about his scripts. The Canadian actor's agency responded with a brief thank you, but no thank you.
"Although we appreciate your interest, we have a firm policy of returning all unsolicited material unread... Thank you for considering Mr. Myers. We wish you much luck in your endeavors."
At press time, the GoFundMe page had raised $530.
