Drake, otherwise known as Toronto's most famous ambassador, made an appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on Thursday (May 12), where he spoke highly of his hometown in typical fashion. The interview started with Jimmy Fallon showing off the rapper's new album cover for Views, which features a shot of the "Hotline Bling" singer perched atop the CN Tower.
"It's definitely the tallest building in Toronto," Drake explained to the 41-year-old host, adding, "it once was the tallest building in Canada."

Jimmy then asked about "The 6," the moniker that the 29-year-old gave Toronto as he rose from Degrassi star to music mogul. "It derives from our area code, 416... We were debating on [referencing the four in the code], but then I went tail-end on it [with just] six."
He went on to share another reason the nickname is relevant to Canada's biggest city: "At one point Toronto was broken up into six areas." (Those areas are Old Toronto, York, East York, North York, Scarborough and Etobicoke.)
Jimmy went on to suggest another way "The 6" was a fitting name, saying "And girls think you're 'sixy,' so..." This, of course, had the rapper and audience roaring with laughter.
A few hours later, Drake shared a snap of himself on Instagram without his trademark beard, pretty much breaking the internet in the process. The star appears to have shaved for his May 14 appearance on Saturday Night Live, during which he'll play host and musical guest.
"Beard making an epic come back in 2 weeks... only for you @nbcsnl. TUNE IN TMRW NIGHT AT 11:30 ON NBC," he said in the photo's caption. That didn't stop fans from losing their mind over his clean-shaven look.
"Drake looks weird without a beard" and "Who allowed Drake to shave his beard!?" were just two of the comments made by his beard-loving brood on social media.
