While there's no timeline on when the show will air, it's expected to hit smallscreens in 2017-2018.
Once the news was official, each of the show's stars (save for Megan who is on a bit of a social media break) took to Twitter to share their excitement.

"We're thrilled that one of the smartest, funniest and most defining comedies in NBC history is coming back," NBC Entertainment chairman Robert Greenblatt said at the press conference. "This groundbreaking series for everything from gay rights to social and political commentary -- all disguised as a high-speed train of witty pop culture -- is coming back where it belongs."
Jennifer Salke, president of NBC Entertainment, added: "We started talking with [the show's original producers about creating] new episodes right after they shot the secret reunion show back in September, and the fact that all four of the original stars were excited about getting back into production is a testament to the joyful experience they had doing nearly 200 episodes for eight seasons. Few things cut through the clutter these days, especially in comedy, and Will & Grace is one of the best."
Talks of reuniting the cast began in earnest in 2016 after the quartet filmed an election-themed video that went viral.
Over the course of its eight-year run, the series scored some 16 Emmys. It also earned wide praise from critics for being a show that broke down barriers for the LGBTQ community.
The reboot is the latest in a string of classic shows that were re-imagined in 2016, including Fuller House and Gilmore Girls. 2017 will see even more adaptations of hit shows like Magnum P.I., Varsity Blues and Dynasty.
