Every costume from season one of 'The Crown'

Episode 1: Wolferton Splash
The series kicked off with a royal wedding as Princess Elizabeth (soon to become Queen) married Prince Philip at Westminster Abbey. Costume designer Michele Clapton recreated the Queen's iconic Norman Hartnell wedding gown, which she paired with the Queen Mother's tiara and a huge bouquet of white flowers.

For a meeting with Sir Winston Churchill, the Queen wore a simple dark-hued outfit, two-strand pearl necklace and a large brooch.

Episode 4: Act of God
A fog fell over the city of London and the royal family, specifically the monarch, who was tasked to decide if Sir Winston Churchill's inaction over the health crisis warranted his resignation. Matching the chill of the episode, the Queen dressed all in dark garb with her signature pearls.

The most elaborate episode of the season saw the 26-year-old royal crowned Queen.

The debut season of The Crown saw Princess Elizabeth (played by Claire Foy) quickly thrust into a new role, not only as Queen but as wife to Prince Philip.
Following her journey around the world with Philip, through a fog health crisis, the death of her father, political scandal and life-changing decisions, we see the Queen's fashion evolve from cool and casual to floral dresses to regal gowns.
