As fans eagerly await the sequel of Deadpool, they can count on Hollywood hunk Ryan Reynolds for behind-the-scenes glimpses of the set. The actor took to Instagram on Feb. 27 to give fans a tour of the “scariest hallway ever” - and it’s hilarious!
In a series of selfie videos, the father of two recorded himself wandering down a narrow hallway outfitted in his Deadpool suit. With his quick wit and sense of humour, the star narrated his adventure. “Just walking down the longest, scariest hall ever,” he joked, flipping the camera around to show viewers the empty corridor. “Like, has anyone not died of a messy stabbing death in this hallway?”
A follow-up video shows the Vancouver native, 41, in the same hallway, but this time, he’s armed with a colleague, who laughs by his side. “Okay, we’re back in the hallway again; the never-ending scary hallway. But I brought security with me this time,” he said, panning to his sidekick. “I brought Hayley. She’s the muscle of this operation.”
Fans of the Canadian superstar have been chomping at the bit for a glimpse at the next film in the Deadpool franchise, which hits Canadian theatres on June 1. A variety of teasers have been released, with one showing Deadpool painting an image dressed up as the iconic artist Bob Ross and another of Ryan speaking directly to his Brazilian fans.
Blake Lively’s husband recently became the proud owner of the Aviation Gin company. “In the long and in no way disastrous marriage of showbiz and alcohol, so happy to announce I’m the proud owner of a gin company… @AviationGin,” Ryan wrote on Twitter. His quick wit was once again on display in the Out Of Office that auto-sends from his company email. “I’m away from my desk at the moment but will respond the moment they give me a desk," the note starts off. After singing the libation's praises, it continues with a little more detail on what he'll bring to the role: "My responsibilities here at the company are vast. I’ll spend my days being photographed intermittently clinching my jaw muscles while pointing at things and nodding.”
