Honey, she’s home! After a 15-year hiatus, Shania Twain has charged back into the limelight with her latest album Now and a judging position on TV show The Launch. Now, it’s been announced that she’s taking it a step further by joining the roster of guest judges on RuPaul’s Drag Race.

Past contestants on 'RuPauls' Drag Race' met with fans in January

The popular drag queen show is entering its tenth season, and what better way to culminate its decade-long reign than with an amazing set of new judges? Shania joins Christina Aguilera, Girls creator Lena Dunham, Kate Upton and more in RuPaul Charles ’ quest to find the next best drag queen. Also set to make appearances on the show are The Big Sick’s Kumail Nanjiani and Emily V. Gordon, Andy Cohen and Stephen Colbert .

It’s been a busy year already since the Canadian singer’s triumphant return after a scary battle with Lyme disease, which left her unable to sing and over the past few years. Shania opened up about her struggle with dysphonia, a condition linked to the disease. She explained to the Los Angeles Times that she’s went through extensive physical therapy to get her voice back before the start of her residency at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas.

But now Shania’s star is shining brighter than ever. Last summer, the 51-year-old announced her return to the stage much to the delight of her biggest fans. She made the announcement after a stunning performance on The Tonight Show, where she was decked out in a black sequined jumpsuit and sang one of her latest tracks, “Swinging with My Eyes Closed.” Shania is quickly making a name for herself on the small screen with her Drag Race appearance too, but it doesn’t end there! She’s also hitting big screens alongside John Travolta in 2018’s Trading Paint . In the film about a father and son competing in competitive racing, the country star plays John’s girlfriend.
