Prince Harry and Meghan’s fairy-tale love story is hitting the small screen once again! Harry & Meghan: Becoming Royal is the follow-up to the Lifetime prequel Harry & Meghan: A Royal Romance, and the TV network has just dropped the very first trailer.
On Tuesday (April 2), Lifetime tweeted the short but sweet first glimpse at the film, which features clips from the fitting for Meghan’s wedding dress, as well as her famous first Christmas at Sandringham and a particularly dramatic interaction with an unknown character. At the beginning of the trailer, a fictional Meghan can be seen telling a friend: “I just feel like I’m pretending to be this beautiful swan.”

As many may notice, there are new actors stepping in to play the Duke and Duchess of Sussex! Tiffany Marie Smith and Charlie Field are taking over as Meghan and Harry, but the storyline will pick up right where its prequel left off.
Fans of the Royal Family love any glimpse into the personal lives of their favourite members, especially since popular royals– from duchesses Kate and Meghan to princes William and Harry – tend to keep their goings on a healthy distance from the limelight. But some notable events featured in Becoming Royal will, of course, be their big royal wedding and their first official Christmas together with the Queen. Prince Charles and Camilla will also be featured in the film – and perhaps viewers will get a glimpse into Meghan’s close bond with her father-in-law.
