BBC's The Holiday Show has boasted some glamorous presenters in its time, but its latest contributor is sure to attract extra-special attention. Because she is none other than Hollywood star Cameron Diaz.

Regular host Craig Doyle was filming in Belize when he noticed the blonde beauty dining in a restaurant. The two got talking and Craig could hardly believe his luck when Cameron offered to do a piece to camera.

The actress was visiting Belize to campaign against a dam project which is endangering local wildlife, and said she would appear on the Holiday Programme if she could use the opportunity to raise awareness about the Macal dam.

"She introduced herself to us saying 'Hi, I'm Cameron Diaz' – as if we didn't already know", revealed director Ed Venner. "She was extremely friendly. We were staggered. She even agreed to get up at six the next morning to do it. It's a cause she feels strongly about."

British TV viewers will have the opportunity to see Cameron go canoeing with Craig on Easter Day.
