Taylor Swift & Harry Styles She is the princess of pop, he is Britain's hottest boy band bachelor; when Taylor Swift and Harry Styles stepped out together in public for the first time in December 2012 it seemed like a match made in music heaven. But it was not to be. Just one month after their debut, the pair decided to call off their fledgling romance. Taylor went on to write the hit single, I Knew You Were Trouble – reportedly about the One Direction star, and made a dig at him as she accepted an MTV award for the track. Britney Spears & Justin Timberlake For three years, Britney Spears and Justin Timberlake were pop's dream couple. The pair, who dated between 1999 and 2002, had been friends since their days on The Mickey Mouse Club. After much speculation, they went public with their romance in September 2000 at the MTV Video Music Awards in New York. In 2002, however, their high-profile romance abruptly came to an end. The break-up influenced the lyrics and theme of Justin's hit single Cry Me A River. "(The split) was horrible. Very upsetting and it took a lot out of me. He was my first real love, and I doubt I'll ever be able to love anyone like that ever again," Britney later told People. "But I'd rather spend two days with my soulmate than the rest of my life with some guy who doesn't mean as much." Katy Perry & John Mayer Having endured the heart-breaking end of her 16-month marriage, Katy Perry found love again with fellow musician John Mayer. The couple started their on-off relationship in August 2012, following Katy's divorce from Russell Brand, and have in recent months become inseparable. There are even reports that they will soon be tying the knot. In an October interview with W magazine, the Roar songstress revealed she'd had a crush on John for some time. The power couple were first linked together after Beyonce appeared on the rapper’s 2002 track Bonnie & Clyde, and went on to collaborate on Beyonce's solo hits Crazy in Love (2003) and Déjà vu (2006). In April 2008, the couple secretly wed in New York. Although they kept quiet about their nuptials for months, Beyonce eventually told Essence magazine that she didn’t want the drama of a big wedding. "It's been my day so many days already," she said. "We've been together a long time… We always knew it would happen." In August 2011, Beyonce delighted fans when she posed for photos cradling a baby bump at the MTV VMAs. "I have a surprise," teased the singer, whose rep confirmed that the pop star and her husband were expecting their first child. Then, on 7 January 2012, Beyonce and Jay Z welcome a daughter, Blue Ivy Carter in New York. The LA-based beauty dated the British Bush frontman long distance for several years before they took the plunge and tied the knot at St Paul's in Covent Garden on 14 September 2002. Two weeks later, they celebrated with a second wedding in LA, in part, the bride said, so she could wear her custom-made John Galliano wedding gown again. In December 2005, Gwen and Gavin announced the happy news that they were expecting their first baby together, and in May 2006, they welcomed their son Kingston James McGregor Rossdale.
