Justin Bieber added to Grammy performance lineup

Justin Bieber is the latest star to sign up for the 2016 Grammys. The news was shared on Twitter over the weekend with a promotional picture and to-the-point copy. "Calling all #Beliebers! @justinbieber has been added to the lineup for the 58th #GRAMMYs airing Feb. 15"

Other entertainers tapped to take the stage, include Adele, Canadian hitmaker the Weeknd, Kendrick Lamar, Little Big Town and Pitbull. Lady Gaga and Rihanna will also make appearances.

In addition to rocking the stage, the native of Stratford, Ont., native hopes to take home a best dance recording trophy for "Where Are U Now" (which he crafted with Skrillex and Diplo). The singer's latest album, Purpose, wasn't eligible for any awards this year because it was released after the deadline for entries. Still, the pop star is keeping busy knocking artists like Adele out of the top spot on the charts. His hit song "Sorry" recently pushed Adele's "Hello" down to number two on the Billboard Hot 100.

This year is shaping up to be one of Justin's busiest. In addition to his Grammys gig, the 21-year-old singer is preparing to launch a worldwide tour, and we expect to see him walk the red carpet at the première of Zoolander 2 in which he makes a cameo.

The purple-haired artist is also rumoured to have a new girlfriend, Hailey Baldwin. The pair have shared several snaps to Instagram that show them cuddling and kissing. The model's father, Usual Suspects actor Stephen Baldwin has denied such claims.

He recently told TMZ there are "no labels" defining the pair's relationship and that they're "just friends."

The 2016 Grammys air on Monday, Feb. 15 on City.
