Justin Bieber, Meghan Trainor and more make the GRAMMYs a family affair

Today may be music's biggest night but in Canada it's also Family Day and a number of A-list stars seem to be in the family spirit. Instead of bringing more traditional dates like significant others and squads normally favoured on the red carpet, stars from Justin Bieber to Meghan Trainor opted to bring family members as their plus-ones.

The "Sorry" singer, who is one of the night's performers, looked thrilled to have his lookalike younger brother Jaxon by his side, even stopping to plant a loving kiss on the youngster's cheek. While Justin's plus-one opted for a traditional black tux his older brother looked dashing in his white jacket.

Double nominee Charlie Puth, who is up for Song of the Year and Best Pop/Duo/Group Performance, brought his mom while Best New Artist nominee Meghan Trainor was accompanied by her dad Gary. He also had the pleasure of escorting her to last year's festivities. On her nomination the singer said: "I love that. To be nominated as a new artist is awesome!"

American singer and songwriter Robin Thicke didn't bring his Canadian father Alan, but instead invited his American actress-singer mother Gloria Loring. Also making the event a family affair was rocker Travis Barker, who brought his two children Alabama and Landon with him. "They've been to the BET awards with me. Anywhere I perform I always bring them. It's memories," he told E! news on the red carpet.
