Kelly Clarkson: 'I want to be pregnant'

Newlywed Kelly Clarkson isn't wasting any time on the baby front.

The singer, who married Brandon Blackstock in an impromptu ceremony last week, says she's ready to start having kids right away — in fact, she and her husband are already trying!

"I want babies, yep!" Kelly said during a radio interview on Wednesday. "Everybody keeps saying, 'What do you want for Christmas?' And I'm like, 'I want to be pregnant.'"

Brandon, 38, is equally onboard the baby train (apparently, he's "excited about all the practice"). The music manager already has two children from a previous marriage — daughter Savannah, 12, and son Seth, 6 — and the happy couple are excited to expand their brood.

"I honestly never ever used to want to want kids because I'm kind of selfish with my career, but going to soccer games with Seth and doing homework with Savannah… I just really love it y'all," she gushed.

"I'm in a great situation. I really lucked out with the whole kids situation. They're amazing."

The 31-year-old pop star added that she wants to have two kids around the same age and imagines her first will be a girl.
