The bodacious actress has been announced as the host of Procter and Gamble’s fifth annual Beauty & Grooming Awards, which will take place in Toronto on Dec. 2.
The 38-year-old stunner – who plays Joan Harris on the critically acclaimed AMC series – joins the ranks of Kim Cattrall, Queen Latifah, Nia Vardalos and Rob Lowe, who have previously hosted the event.
Honouring Canada's top beauty and fashion talent, the P&G awards recognize a wide range of industry professionals, including beauty editors, photographers, models, makeup artists and even fashion and beauty bloggers.
Without a doubt, the gorgeous redhead is a natural choice for the role; she was named Esquire’s “sexiest woman in the world” in 2010 and has been described by designer Vivian Westwood as "the embodiment of beauty."
"Christina Hendricks is the perfect host for our fifth anniversary year, exuding unmistakable confidence, talent and show-stoppingbeauty,” P&G Canada president Thom Lachman said in a statement.
The P&G jury includes Canadian media personalities Jeanne Beker and Glen Baxter.
