Madonna to teach a workout class at the Hard Candy Toronto grand opening

Want to know what it's like to work out with Madonna? (If you can keep up, that is!)

The Material Girl is coming to Canada on Feb. 11 to host the official grand opening of Hard Candy Fitness Toronto, the latest location of her luxury gym franchise.

The fabulously fit 55-year-old is even slated to lead one of her signature Addicted to Sweat cardio dance classes -- but you’ll have to endure a few rounds of auditions to take part.

Hard Candy has seven other locations around the world, in cities that include Mexico City, Rome and Sydney. The $6-million Toronto location, which opened Oct. 31, 2013, is the largest so far, at an impressive 48,000 square feet.

For those Toronto members eager to exercise with the megastar next month, the first round of auditions will take place on Jan. 30 and Feb. 1 at the facility, located at the Aura building at Yonge Street and Gerrard Street.

Named after Madonna’s eleventh album, the high-end health club was founded in 2010 in collaboration with the singer's manager and 24 Hour Fitness founder, Mark Mastrov. Toronto's version boasts state-of-the-art equipment and Madonna-inspired decor, as well as a juice bar and a terrace.
