‘Royals’ singer Lorde skyrocketed to success in 2013, and this year she’s giving back.
On Mar. 30, the Kiwi teen tweeted an unedited photo of herself performing at Lollapalooza in Santiago, Chile after she discovered a Photoshopped-to-death version floating around the Internet.
Lorde wrote “remember flaws are OK” to her 1.35 million followers, launching her own Dove-esque campaign for the mainstream music industry.
Lorde, 17, has been an advocate of flaunting imperfections since she broke out on the scene, even once criticizing now-pal Taylor Swift for being “so flawless, and so unattainable.”
The ‘Tennis Court’ chanteuse has already been retweeted more than 40,000 times, though she's not afraid of playing up what you've got with a little help of your own: Lorde is the latest songstress to launch a capsule collection with MAC Cosmetics.
