Jessica Paré, best known for her Mad Men role as Don Draper's wife Megan Draper, has announced that she is pregnant with her first child.
The 33-year-old Canadian actress confirmed the happy news to Us Weekly on Tuesday. She is expecting her child in 2015 with her partner, rock musician John Kastner.
The striking actress first stepped out with her fellow French-Canadian beau singer-guitarist in 2012. They made their most recent red carpet appearance together in August at Audi's celebration of Emmys Week.
While this will be Jessica's first baby, her partner has a seven-year-old daughter from his marriage to The Dead Zone actress Nicole de Boer.
Jessica joined the Mad Men cast as a secretary – having originally auditioned for a minor role – at Manhattan's advertising agency, Sterling Cooper Draper Pryce, in 2010. She quickly became a central character after the shocking season four finale when she wed the handsome Don.
Her most notable moment on the AMC drama may have come in the season five premiere, when Megan threw her husband a birthday party and sang Zou Bisou Bisou in front of most of the firm.
The song, which the actress had previously recorded and then lip-synced while filming the March 2012 episode, reached No. 1 on Billboard's World Digital chart. "I thought, 'I should get a band together!'" she joked to Rolling Stone at the time.
