We’ve seen Jennifer Lawrence dazzle in Dior on red carpets around the world and front gorgeous ads for the French fashion house, but the actress’s latest campaign may be her most stunning yet. Fronting the Dior Addict lipstick range, the Hunger Games star is the picture of beauty.
The first campaign image of Jennifer was unveiled on Tuesday, as she joins a line of brand ambassadors for Dior beauty products which includes Kate Moss and Natalie Portman. In the close-up image, Jennifer wows as she showcases her flawless, glowing skin, with a hint of pale pink lipstick for a pop of colour. Wearing her short hair slicked back in slightly dishevelled curls, she is the epitome of elegance in a black leather top by Raf Simons.
This marks the first time that the 24-year-old is the face of a beauty brand, and it comes as no surprise that it would be for Dior. The Kentucky-born actress has been a brand ambassador for the designer since 2013, and last year reportedly signed a $15million contract to continue their partnership for another three years.
“Jennifer is such a handsome, modern beauty, she’s such a wonderful fresh face to work with,” Dior’s Make-Up Creative Director Peter Phillips told Grazia.
He also revealed that the Hollywood starlet already had an impressive knowledge of make-up and knew what would suit her best.
“Jennifer was very involved in the process, and chose the lip shade she was wearing herself,” he revealed. “She knew the look she wanted.”
The full campaign will be unveiled in September, with Jennifer set to also star in a promo video – this marks another first for the Oscar-winning actress, who has never starred in a television advert for the brand.
