Jennifer Aniston has her weekly workouts down to an art - and now you can try them too! The 47-year-old revealed how she stays in shape in a new interview, sharing her secrets to a healthy lifestyle and the routine she does on a regular basis.
Jennifer admitted that she works out five days a week, describing her typical workout as a "15-minute-quad thing".
"I do 15 on the elliptical, 15 spinning, then I do 15 run," she told Harper's Bazaar. "And then I do portions of the Body by Simone DVD for floor work. It's so freaking hard, it's unbelievable."
As well as her impressive fitness routine, the We're The Millers actress sticks to a healthy diet, avoiding sugar and regularly eating "a salad with protein" or a chicken burger and lettuce for lunch.
When it comes to body image, Jennifer admitted that ageing has been a key factor in helping her confidence to grow. "I feel better in my 40s," she said. "Not only do you feel better in your body physically, but you're mentally better."
She later added: "For me, in my 30s I was just trying to figure it all out. Then when you hit 40, you're like, 'Oh, okay. I got this.'"
The Horrible Bosses star confessed that she is still taken aback at the attitude towards older women in the industry. "There are women who've hit 50 who are stunners, like shocking," she said. "We just take better care of ourselves. I had somebody say to me, 'Women these days in their 40s look pretty good!' And this was a much older person. I mean, who says that?"
With countless films under her belt as well as fronting campaigns for some of the world's biggest brands, Jennifer is showing no signs of slowing down. However, the star did take time out from her hectic schedule to reunite with her fellow Friends co-stars Lisa Kudrow, David Schwimmer,Courteney Cox and Matt LeBlanc for a tribute to director Jim Burrows.
"We would do anything for Jim Burrows because he really gave us the opportunity of a lifetime and probably the best 10 years of our acting careers that we will forever remember," she said during the highly-anticipated reunion.
"We experienced friendship, family, heartbreak, babies, everything together. We also sort of had a wonderful experience with the world loving us, as well - they connected with us."
