Kylie Jenner expands her cosmetics line with Kyshadow palette

Kylie Jenner revealed some exciting news about her beauty empire, Kylie Cosmetics, on her Instagram page this week: the Keeping up with the Kardashians star has added her first non-lip product to the wildly popular range. The 18-year-old's new eyeshadow palette, called 'Kyshadow,' is sure to be a smash hit.

"Yay!!!!! Months in the making and i'm so happy my #KYSHADOW is finally here!!!" she wrote to her 68.7 million followers, alongside a snap of the new palette. "Wow. Thank you to everyone for supporting me throughout my journey. One step closer to my dreams of having a full cosmetic line and YOU are the reason."

Already hailed by her legions of fans as a beauty guru, Kylie then revealed that she had created tutorials on how to use the eyeshadow to recreate her make-up looks on her eponymous website and Snapchat account.

She wrote: "Go to to watch an introduction to my Bronze Palette and an exclusive makeup tutorial by @makeupbyariel using the #kyshadows. Also check out my snapchat to watch me show you how I use my palette. ....and want to know when I'm launching? Stay tuned on @kyliecosmetics Instagram! It's sooner than you think! ;)."


A few hours later, the company revealed that the eyeshadow would be launching on Tuesday – and no doubt is likely to sell out within minutes, just like the star's iconic lip kits.

Kylie shared a video from her trip to the factory

Kim Kardashian's younger sister also shared her excitement when she revealed she had headed to the factory to find out exactly how the eyeshadow itself was made. In the short video posted on her Instagram and Snapchat pages, Kylie can be seen wearing a lab coat and hair net as she operates the machinery to put the eyeshadow powder into the mold.

"Throwback to when I spent the day learning how to make these eyeshadows for you guys," she wrote alongside the video.
