Oscars 2018 Beauty: The cheapest red-carpet products, from $8 lipstick to $7 lotion

The Oscars is Hollywood's biggest celebration of talent in front of and behind the camera, but while statues are doled out on the stage at the Academy Awards, the red carpet also sees its fair share of winners hours before the show even begins. And while the stars were draped in $30 million worth of jewelry collectively, some of the products used in their beauty looks were decidedly cheaper - and very easy to add to your own routine!

Teaming up with their glam squads, our favourite celebrities used a big mix of products to achieve their show-stopping looks - and they did not disappoint! The fact that many of the products can be found during a quick trip to the drugstore only sweetens the deal.

Read on for some of our favourite affordable beauty products of the night, from Nicole Kidman to Taraji P. Henson...

Gal Gadot

Is there anything that Wonder Woman (a.k.a. Gal Gadot) can't do? Not only did the actress stun in a metallic fringed gown, paired with the most amazing necklace ever, but she also brought out the chic wine-stained lips. The Israeli actress teamed up with Revlon, for whom she's an ambassador, pairing their Super Lustrous Lipstick ($7.96) in Bombshell red with Colorstay Lip Liner ($8.96) in Wine for the perfect mashup.

Gina Rodriguez

Gina was easily one of the best dressed on last night's red carpet, and her makeup glowed just as much as her gorgeous gown. The Jane the Virgin star was illuminated from the inside out with a little help from all-natural, cruelty-free, affordable beauty brand Burt's Bees.

Taraji P. Henson

One key to killing the beauty game is making sure your skin is perfectly hydrated. Taraji was absolutely radiant in her skin-baring Vera Wang ensemble thanks to Vaseline's Intensive Care Cocoa Radiant Lotion (it's $6.77 at Walmart!). Ashunta Sheriff was responsible for her stunning makeup look, too.

Nicole Kidman

Nicole rocked one of the best (and simplest!) hair looks of the evening - a sleek centre part with her blond tresses tucked behind her ears. Clothing and beauty giant & Other Stories (H&M's sister brand) is to thank for this fabulous 'do! The company took this moment to announce the launch of their new range of hair products, which hit stores this summer. (The not-so-cheap aspects of the Big Little Lies star's look? A $400 Dyson blowdryer she used!)

Zendaya and Octavia Spencer

These two stunning stars received the Dove treatment on their gorgeous locks from Ursula Steven and Dave Stanwell, respectively. The Shape of Water star looked regal in some classic Hollywood waves, while Zendaya rocked a sleek high bun for the occasion.
