The air of mystery surrounding Meghan Markle’s bridal look is all part of the fun leading up to her big day on May 19. But an important detail regarding her royal wedding hair has been revealed – she’ll be taking pointers from Amal Clooney’s beauty handbook, and her very own stylist, Miguel Perez, of Salon Sloane.
Practice makes perfect! Leading up to the wedding, the stylist confirmed to The Mail that he has already been styling the soon-to-be royal’s lovely locks. “Yes, I do Meghan’s hair. I do Amal’s, and Meghan is friends with her. I also do George [Clooney]’s, I do the whole family.” The 36-year-old was first introduced to the celebrity stylist when she moved to London, by none other than her brilliant pal Amal. “[She] put Meghan and me together when she moved here. I do her colour, her cut and her styling,” he told the publication.
And perhaps as the greatest “thank you” of all, the human rights lawyer and her husband, George Clooney, have reportedly scored seats in the St George’s Chapel pews when the former Suits star says “I do” to Prince Harry.
Fans of the Royal Family have already started making predications on what hairstyle the Los Angeles native will go for. Much like Amal, Meghan favours wearing her hair down in loose, voluminous waves – a natural laidback look that reflects her chilled California vibe. But she’s also been known to rock a chic messy bun, with loose tresses framing her face to show off her natural beauty.
For the Hollywood star’s first wedding to Trevor Engelson, she wore her hair down in “a boho loose style, which complimented her more relaxed wedding gown,” hair expert Ed James told Ok!. But it’s unlikely that she’ll go for the same style, he explained. While stepping out for the Queen’s 92 nd birthday on April 23, the Suits alum decided to go for a more proper bun, which could be foreshadowing her style when she walks down the aisle next month.
