Celine Dion is the envy of fashion and beauty lovers worldwide – so it’s no surprise the Canadian chanteuse is teaming up with L'Oréal Paris as their newest spokesperson! “I’m at a stage in my life where I’m excited to use my voice to empower others to feel beautiful, confident and to learn to embrace themselves,” the singer said in a statement.
Rumours about this possibility have been swirling since January, when the mother-to-three wore an “I’m worth it” sweater while on the set of ‘L’Oréal Excellence’ in Paris. And given her constant fashion wins (and her general je ne sais quoi), it’s clear life just keeps getting better for her.
“I feel so good now that I don’t even want to think about my 20s or 30s, when I was still discovering myself,” she said in L’Oréal's master interview. “For the last couple years, I have grown in a very strong and happy way through my passions, my work, friendship, motherhood... I’ve never felt so beautiful, strong, and I feel that the best is yet to come.”
Aside from her beautiful heart, there’s no denying the 51-year-old is the picture of elegance – and she definitely knows and owns her particular brand of beauty and style. “I love doing my makeup; I love to play. I always start my beauty routine making sure my face is clean and well prepared,” she explained. “Then I like to put a light concealer under the eyes to open up my gaze, a little bit of powder to fix it and a touch of a brown pencil to balance my face.” Rumour has it, she sometimes does her own beauty prep for her shows!
Ever since making Europe her catwalk during her 2017 tour, Celine has been on everyone's fashion radar for her bold looks and risk-taking. “Fashion excites me. It allows me to express myself and to be creative in a way that’s different from music,” she said.
Celine will make her debut for L’Oréal Paris in Excellence Hair Colour advertising which will premiere on April 22, 2019.
