It has been quite the year for beauty collaborations! Some of our favourite beauty brands teamed up with the biggest TV shows and movies to produce incredible products. Luminess Beauty x The Lion King
The Luminess Beauty x The Lion King beauty collaboration was released in the summer to coincide with the film's release. It was developed by celebrity makeup artist Sir John and features the most striking hand-designed etched packaging inspired by characters from the movie!

Urban Decay x Game of Thrones
Game of Thrones fans might no longer have new seasons of the HBO show, but they were able to keep a piece of Westeros thanks to the Urban Decay x Game of Thrones collaboration. The limited-edition products were inspired by the fierce women on the show as well as the places. The range even featured "sword" eyeshadow brushes based on Jon Snow’s Longclaw and Arya Stark’s Needle.

Sephora x Marvel
The Sephora x Marvel collection brought makeup and comics together in a not-to-be-forgotten collection. Unfortunately, the fierce range was only available overseas in places like Thailand and Singapore. That means fans had to be in one of the lucky countries to get a Captain America Blush Palette and Black Panther Highlighting Palette.

Pat McGrath x Star Wars
One of the last makeup collaborations of the year was the Pat McGrath x Star Wars one to coincide with the release of Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker. The legendary makeup artist "summoned the stars with extraterrestrial eyeshadows" and even re-imagined the brand's signature lipstick in a R2-D2 version! It's out of this world.

MAC x Aladdin
Many makeup fans considered it a wish come true when MAC announced a limited-edition Aladdin beauty collection. The gorgeous range drew inspiration from Princess Jasmine with rich jewel tones and metallics. The powder blush with embossed genie lamp was such a treat!

Besame Cosmetics x Sleeping Beauty
In honour of the 60th anniversary of Sleeping Beauty, Besame Cosmetics collaborated with Disney on a makeup collection inspired by the story and artwork of Princess Aurora. The ornate packaging on the lipsticks and eyeshadows are as beautiful as the dreamy shades. No one would guess the "book" is really an eyeshadow palette!

Ulta Beauty x Marvel's Avengers
There have been countless things related to Marvel's Avengers, but the Ulta Beauty collection announcement from April 2019 still made fans very excited. The eye-catching range featured makeup and organizers that delivered a one-two punch of colour.

Innisfree x Toy Story
At the start of 2019, Innisfree announced its
Toy Story collection. The limited-edition skin care range combined the natural brand's potent ingredients from pristine Jeju island with the classic movie's characters. How adorable is this Buzz Lightyear box?

UStar x The Little Mermaid
This is one incredible Disney collaboration that fans might not have seen before because it's only available in Thailand. It is worthy of a spot on the list because Ustar totally captured the whimsical feel of The Little Mermaid with its four-piece collection. The illustrated packaging is enchanting!

Frozen 2 collection is no doubt a winner for fans of the franchise. The limited-edition collection has products for anyone whether their favourite character is Elsa, Anna, or both of them!
