Caroline Flack prepares for The X Factor debut with 'a new do!'

Caroline Flack will begin her hosting duties for ITV reality show The X Factor this weekend, so in preparation the gorgeous brunette "got a new do!" The 35-year-old TV personality shared a snap of the new hairstyle, a short and choppy bob, on her Twitter account.

"Start hosting X Factor this weekend!!! Got a new do! So nervous. So excited." she tweeted to her nearly 1.8 million followers.

The cute picture showed Caroline making a funny face as she took a selfie which showed off the new hair.

Caroline will host the new series of The X Factor with her former The Xtra Factor host Olly Murs. The pair confirmed their new job in April after weeks of denials and veiled suggestions.

"I'm incredibly excited and proud to be returning to The X Factor alongside Caroline," said Olly in an official statement.

Caroline added: "I'm beyond excited about presenting The X Factor with Olly. To have the privilege of doing this with someone who makes me laugh out loud is a massive bonus!

"I'm also incredibly lucky to have the best tips and support from my showbiz big brother Dermot [O'Leary]. I'm not sure how I can live up to his long term residency but I know I can't let him down!"

Demi Lovato is expected to replace one of the current judges

Dermot hosted the show for eight "wonderful" years but confirmed at the end of March he would be leaving to pursue new opportunities. Created by Simon Cowell, The X Factor created worldwide stars in One Direction, Little Mix, and Leona Lewis.

The show's 13th season will see Simon and Cheryl Fernandez-Versini return as judges, while it is thought that 22-year-old pop star Demi Lovato will replace Mel B as the fourth judge. Demi featured on two series of the US version of the show, and will reportedly replace Mel B.

Long-standing judge Louis Walsh is also rumoured to be leaving as part of a judging panel shake-up.
