Ashlee Simpson celebrated impending motherhood with a beautiful baby shower surrounded by friends and family at the weekend. The pregnant singer, who is expecting her first baby with Evan Ross, enjoyed a day of rest and relaxation with her sister Jessica Simpson and her hubby's mother Diana Ross, among a total of 65 guests.
As the ladies chilled out, Evan got together with a group of friends at The Beverly Hills Hotel. "The guys got a cabana and hung out for a few hours during the afternoon. They ordered food and got some sun," a source told E! News.
"Ashlee got lots of presents and she had fun opening them with everyone," they continued of the "beautiful" and "relaxed" evening. "It was beautiful weather and her house was the perfect setting … so gorgeous," a source told People magazine of the get-together at Jessica's house.While no peeks of the party were revealed, Jessica did share a glimpse of the stunning setting with a shot of a beautifully decorated table complete with gold-edged china and gold cutlery, pink flowers and sprinkled with loose pink petals and gold stars.

Grandmother-to-be Diana also shared her excitement ahead of attending the bash by posting a photograph of her gift basket.
It is thought that Ashlee will welcome the couple's first child together in June. The child will be Ashlee's second – the 30-year-old is already a mum to six-year-old son Bronx from her previous marriage to Fall Out Boy's Pete Wentz.The beautiful blonde showed off her blossoming figure back in April, when the couple stepped out for the premiere of Evan's new film Just Before I Go.

Ashlee donned a floor-length silk gown that draped perfectly over her baby bump for the occasion, finishing off with a black overcoat. Her husband of seven months was dressed all in black, including dark jeans and a fuzzy jacket.
