Lucy Liu is one proud mother. The Elementary actress gave fans an up-close glimpse at her son Rockwell on Monday, showing the baby boy smiling happily at his mum.
The two-month-old is dressed in a car print Babygro and can be seen with a teddy bear resting next to his head. "Mood #Rockwell," Lucy captioned the photo.

It is the first photo Lucy has shared of her son since announcing the happy news of his arrival in August. A representative confirmed that Lucy's son Rockwell Lloyd Liu was brought into the world via gestational carrier, with the 46-year-old proudly showing off her newborn on Instagram in a sweet black-and-white photo.
"Introducing the new little man in my life, my son Rockwell Lloyd Liu. In love!" Lucy wrote alongside the image of her cradling her bundle of joy. The actress also posted another photo of her son and thanked fans for their best wishes, writing: "Rockwell and I so appreciate all your warm wishes!"

Rockwell is Lucy's first child. She prefers to keep her personal life private, but in the past has been linked to hedge-fund billionaire Noam Gottesman, as well as Zach Helm and Will McCormack.
Back in 2010, Lucy opened up to USA Today about motherhood, saying: "I don't have a settling-down time," adding that she thought her biological clock was broken. "Someone threw out the battery," she joked.
"I never feel like it’s too early or too late for anything," she explained. "I don't ever think for me this traditional way is the way to go for me because I haven't had a traditional life."
Lucy isn't the first celebrity to use a gestational carrier to expand her family. After a "rollercoaster ride with fertility", Nicole Kidman and her husband Keith Urban opted for the same route for their second child, Faith.
