Jordana Brewster and her husband Andrew Form are celebrating the arrival of their second child, a baby boy named Rowan Brewster-Form, who was born via gestational surrogate on 9 June. The new arrival is a younger sibling for the couple's two-year-old son Julian, who they also welcomed via a surrogate in 2013.

The Fast & Furious star opened up about her decision to pursue gestational surrogacy in an interview with Yahoo Parenting in October 2015.

"I didn't really have a choice about being open since it was obvious I wasn't pregnant," the 36-year-old said. "For me it wasn't a choice; I needed to use a surrogate. But I didn't feel judged. It's more like I felt awkward.

"Sometimes I feel a little left out when other mums talk about what their birth experience was like, and I fell the loss of not having carried or having been able to carry.

Jordana has made no secret of her desire to expand her family

"I many ways I feel lucky I was able to be so open," Jordana added. "There are so many women who are young and have to go through IVF and feel like they can't talk about it, and that's really unfortunate."

Jordana and producer Andrew first met while filming the 2006 film The Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Beginning, and were married in a private ceremony in the Bahamas in May 2007. Their first child Julian was born on 10 September 2013.

The former Dallas star has made no secret of her desire to expand her family. Shortly after Julian's arrival she told Wonderwall that she "absolutely" wanted more children. "I say two or three," she said. "Because there's always the possibility of twins."

Of her son, she added: "At every age you're like, 'This is the best age! No, this is the best age'," she shared. "But now this is my favourite age, of course, because he's responding so much."
