Olivia Wilde shared an intimate moment with her newborn daughter Daisy on Instagram. The 32-year-old looked every inch the glowing mother as she posed for a selfie while breastfeeding her little girl on Monday.

"My drinking buddy," she captioned the candid photograph alongside the message, "Never Underestimate the Power of a Woman".

Dressed in a T-shirt with the powerful slogan, the actress - who welcomed her second child with partner Jason Sudeikis at the start of this month - slightly lifted her top as she carefully nursed her daughter.

This is the second child and first daughter with her Hollywood fiancé - the couple are also parents to a two-year-old son called Otis.

After the birth of her first child, Olivia was chastised by critics when breastfeeding her then five-month-old son in a striking photoshoot for Glamour magazine.

In a recent interview with net-a-porter.com's The Edit, the actress explained: "In a way, it has allowed for a kind of comprehensive picture of what opinion is, what people love and hate. I didn't know breastfeeding was controversial; the fact that [the media] are sexualizing it is shocking."

Meanwhile, Olivia revealed her second pregnancy back in April, sharing a sweet snapshot of herself and her little boy to announce the happy news.

"Matching baby bumps," she captioned a photo of the duo, both holding their tummies and smiling.

Both Olivia and Jason, 41, have previously spoken openly about their desire to give little Otis a sibling. "I'm desperate for more (kids)," the actress told People, before adding: "I love my siblings so much and Jason has incredible siblings too. The more the merrier."
