With so little left to shock and provoke, Miley Cyrus is baring what’s left (a.k.a. all) for Rolling Stone magazine.
On the cover of the October issue, the "Wrecking Ball" singer appears naked from the waist up, arms folded carefully in front of her, platinum hair slicked back and tongue (of course) cheekily stuck out.
Inside the pages, Miley is equally unapologetic. Her feisty interview covers a lot of ground, from her controversial MTV Video Music Awards performance, to her weight (a mere 108 pounds) and her neighbour, Stephen Baldwin, who has a Hannah Montana tattoo on his shoulder (yes, we were surprised, too).
With regards to her controversial VMA performance, Miley says it was actually supposed to be much raunchier than what we saw on television.
"Honestly, that was our MTV version," she says. "We could have even gone further, but we didn't. I thought that's what the VMAs were all about! It's not the Grammys or the Oscars ... it's supposed to be fun!"
Still, the 20-year-old pop star claims her days of twerking and sticking her tongue out are over (minus this Rolling Stone cover, of course), saying "I'll never do [that] again." She’s focused on her music, she says, and wants to be taken seriously as an artist overall.
