Kanye West cancels second Vancouver show, postpones tour

Kanye West has cancelled another show in Vancouver.

The rapper was scheduled to perform at the Rogers Arena last night, 11 days after his Oct. 20 show was also postponed, but was forced to pull the plug once again – mere hours before Kanye was slated to take the stage.

This time, the show was cancelled due to a traffic accident. A tour truck carrying a custom-made video truss and a 60-foot circular LED screen crashed, damaging the items beyond repair.

The entire “Yeezus” tour has now been put on hold indefinitely, as the equipment was “central to the creative vision,” according to a statement from Def Jam records.

Halloween’s show was supposed to make up for the first cancelled concert, which left fans outraged over the inconvenience and travel expenses (some fans claimed they travelled to Vancouver from other cities to see Kanye).

There’s been no announcement so far as to whether a third show is in the works.

On the upside, Kanye now has more time to plan his wedding to fiancée Kim Kardashian! The 36-year-old rap star, who proposed to the mother of his child on Oct. 21, to be planning a lavish ceremony that will include “fighter jets.”
