Beyoncé performs heartwarming duet with 13-year-old blind fan

Sophie Kotkis is unlikely to ever forget this magical moment.

The 13-year-old girl, who is blind and suffers from hearing and muscle difficulties, was attending Beyoncé’s concert in Australia when the singer approached her by the edge of the stage.

“I have a very special young lady here," Beyoncé said, kissing the girl on the cheek. "Tell everybody your name, beautiful!”

“Sophie!” the beaming youngster responded as the audience of 15,000 people exploded into applause.

Then, Beyoncé said: “Sophie, I think I need you to help me sing this song. Do you think you can sing 'to the left, to the left?’”

Smiling ear to ear, Sophie sang the words to "Irreplaceable" with her idol as the crowd cheered.
Afterwards, Sophie older sister Ellie said, “She’s never been able to go to a concert due to logistical reasons… She had no idea that [Beyoncé] was going to sing with her. It was amazing.”

She added: “She’s on cloud nine.”

Sophie’s older sister Ellie had sent a video to Beyoncé seven months prior to help organize the special moment, with the help of children’s charity Hope For Children.
