New dad Michael Bublé has opened up to George Stroumboulopoulos about how becoming a father has changed his life.
In an interview that aired on March 17 on the CBC, the Canadian singer revealed, “I look at everything differently now that I have a kid.”
Michael and his wife, Luisana Lopilato, welcomed a son in August of last year. The singer famously took to Twitter to share the happy news, along with a snapshot of the couple and their newborn in the hospital.
Shooting on location from British Columbia's beautiful Pacific Rim National Park, the 38-year-old told George: “There’s a category of love I didn’t know existed… I get that there’s sleepless nights and tough times, but how could you not want to be part of it?"
He adds: "I’m in love with this little dude [Noah], and no matter what happens in my life, no matter how bad things get, I’m happy. He’s my happy place.”
In the interview, Michael also offered rare insight into his relationship with Luisana, whom he affectionately calls “Lu." He and the Argentinian beauty have learned to compromise on how they split their time (between Vancouver and Buenos Aires), and when they fight, Michael admitted he sings “I’m sorry” to her to make her smile.
When asked whether he prefers to win a Juno or Grammy award, the signer didn't hesitate.
"Juno," he said. “I don’t know where my Grammys are… I have all my Junos, though.”
