Drake responds to #DrakeForKen campaign by visiting a terminally ill cancer patient in Houston

Drake added ‘lovely human being’ to his extensive resume after visiting Texan teen Kennedy Brown, a Carnegie Vanguard High School student who suffers from an inoperable brain tumour.

Drake made the trip to Houston after the hashtag #DrakeForKen went viral on social media. Kennedy has faced endless hurdles since being diagnosed, and her friends and teachers have been there every step of her journey – in addition to creating a successful viral marketing campaign, they organized a prom and graduation for Kennedy after she had to stop attending school due to her maturing condition.

After the Young Money fixture learned of the campaign, he promised to make a video for the ailing 15-year-old, but surprised everyone by making a house call as well – one that led to an overjoyed teen crossing “meet Drake” off her bucket list.

At her request, Kennedy was also granted permission to pet the ‘Started From the Bottom’ star’s eyebrows, and the former Degrassi actor gave the lucky lady an adorable smooch on the cheek.

Drake took to Instagram to document the experience, showing gratitude to fans that helped make the visit so much more powerful. “All these beautiful people #drakeforken turned into #kenfordrake. I am so happy,” he wrote on one of his posts.

This isn’t the first time the 27-year-old rapper has been charitable. Drake has been linked to various charities, including Habitat for Humanity, The Lincoln Rising, MusiCares, The Ryan Seacrest Foundation, Young Audiences of New York and the Eric Trump Foundation, and joined forces with The Game last year to help a woman in Ohio who lost her family in a house fire.
