Sarah McLachlan announces Canadian tour to begin in October

Grammy award-winning singer-songwriter Sarah McLachlan debuted her new album, Shine On, today, but that’s not all: The “Building a Mystery” singer also announced plans to tour across Canada, starting with an October 18 show in Victoria, BC and ending in St. John’s, Newfoundland on November 21.

The 22-stop tour will be called the Shine On Canada Tour, and we can expect a myriad of first listens where new material is concerned as well as some old favourites (we hope!).

Sarah announced an American tour in March, which is slated to begin in Seattle on June 20.

In addition to her very exciting music career, the “Adia” vocalist funds an outreach program in Vancouver called the Sarah McLachlan School of Music, a charitable initiative that provides music education to inner city children. Portions of VIP ticket sales for the upcoming tours will help to fund the charity.
