Jennifer Lopez turns back time for a free concert in the Bronx

She’s still Jenny from the block! Jennifer Lopez went back to her roots by performing her first-ever, free hometown concert in the Bronx this week.

The singer rocked a leotard version of her famous 2000 Grammys ensemble – a plunging green chiffon Versace dress – as she performed for the sell-out crowd.

The original dress is considered to be one of the most iconic gowns of the last few decades, and 14 years on Jennifer, 44, looked just as stunning in the sexy adaptation.

Later on, the mom-of-two changed into a short white-and-gold playsuit that showcased her enviable figure.

Among those enjoying the free concert at Pelham Bay Park was Khloé Kardashian. The reality star was pictured backstage with her boyfriend French Montana - who was one of Jennifer’s guest rappers along with Fat Joe. The Kardashian sister later hung out with Jennifer and her crew at their afterparty.

Noticeably absent on the night was the singer’s boyfriend Casper Smart.

In the last week, the couple have hit the headlines amid allegations that Casper has been sending messages and photos to a transsexual bikini model.

A friend told People that Jennifer and Casper, 27, had "hit a rough patch" a few months ago. “Now, all this stuff comes out… They’re still together, technically, but no idea for how long.”

In the meantime, the star is trying to stay positive and focus on work. “She is excited about where her life is right now,” the insider added. “Her new single (First Love) is on fire, and her album is about to drop, and she has movies and hit TV shows that she is producing.”

“She couldn’t be in better shape professionally. Personally, it’s a bit more tricky.”
