Celine Dion meets Richard Dunn, the YouTube fan who created the viral 'All By Myself' airport video

Remember Celine Dion mega-fan Richard Dunn? He created a viral ode to the Canadian songbird in June while stranded in a Las Vegas airport that's set to the hit ballad “All By Myself.”

That was simply the beginning, because not shortly after the video went viral, Celine responded with her own video.

“Hi Richard! I have to say that the video was hilarious and very touching," the megawatt star says in the reaction video. "I loved it. But next time, you know, you’re stuck all by yourself at Las Vegas airport for hours and hours, please be a guest at my show. And, by the way Richard, you’re more than welcome to use my bathroom. So I hope to see you soon. Ciao for now. Thanks.”

And “soon” proved to be this weekend, because on July 4, Richard took to Vegas with his family and friends and he officially met the 46-year-old chanteuse.

The short video went viral just last month after Richard gave up seats on his flight home to Atlanta – leaving him with vouchers for a return trip, and stranded and alone in an empty airport.

His boredom led to a production that has already been viewed more than 13 million times, including at least one of those views by Celine herself.

After meeting the singer backstage with friends and family in tow, Richard posed for photos and reportedly said, “This is a once-in-a-lifetime memory I never thought would happen but will last forever.”
