​Shania Twain announces 16 shows to close up her Las Vegas residency

Shania Twain may be on the road to a new album, but her residency at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas is coming to an end.

The country superstar will end her run on December 13 after two years belting it out on the stage at the Colosseum.

Shania, 48, kicked off her Las Vegas residency with a bang in November 2012, halting traffic on the strip as she entered on horseback among a herd of horses.

The singer intends to have an equally splashy finale, as she recently announced a whopping 16 shows to close out her residency from October to December.

“Shania: Still the One” features a host of spectacles, including a flying motorcycle and trained horses. By December 13, Shania will have performed a grand total of 110 shows at the Colosseum, which is also home to the residency of Canadian songbird Celine Dion.

The “That Don’t Impress Me Much” songstress noted in an official statement, “I can’t thank Las Vegas enough. I started the first international Shania Kids Can clubhouse in Las Vegas because I love this city, and my time here has given me more than anyone can ever know.”

Recently, Shania hinted at a cross-country tour while she was in Calgary for the Stampede earlier this month.
